What do you do when you feel stuck? You feel like you’re just going through the motions of life? You’re just going through life and things are just happening to you.
Maybe you’re like me, and you’ve become passive in both your life and your walk with Christ. If you’re reading this, you want to live a life of purpose. You want to make a difference. You want to live a life that pleases God.
Maybe you feel lukewarm in your walk with God.
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.” Revelation 3:15 NKJV
Ask God to renew your fire.
“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.” Psalms 145:18 NKJV
Yes! Make that your prayer everyday until you experience it. Ask God to give you more of a desire for Him and His word. Make that your heart cry! Call upon Him!
Seek God. Pursue a relationship with Him. Get down on your knees if you need to. Surrender your life. Let God be first in all you do.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 NKJV
Have a Christ focused mindset. Everything in your life should point to God. If there’s something that doesn’t, cut it out. Whether it’s a bad relationship, a tv show, a video game, etc.. If it pushes away from God, cut it out, or make a change.
Ask God to give you GRACE!
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16 NKJV
Don’t do things in your strength! Let God help you in all the situations you are facing.
Isn’t it time? Isn’t it time that you allow God to work in your life? He’s waiting. He’s always ready to hear you pray!
And in addition to relying upon God, allow the believers around to help you and support you in your walk with Christ. Ask for you prayer, ask for advice.
Living true life means allowing Jesus to be your source. Jesus is the way, truth, and the life. We emphasize the way and truth, but not always the “life” part of the verse. Our relationship with God is the source of spiritual life. So, if you’re not in a right relationship with Jesus, you are cutting off the very one who died to give you life and your source of life and peace.
This may be why you feel stuck or burnt out or unsatisfied.
